IN LOVING MEMORY OF POOKIE
Pookie was my sweet, affectionate, interactive, playful furball, who always wanted to keep me by his side, whether it be hugging my ankle, leg, arm, hand or draping himself across my feet or thighs in order to be attached to me in some way.
When he wanted to play with me, he would let me know, if he wanted to play “hide and seek” (aka “peekaboo”) or have me chase him around the apartment so he could go belly-up and get a much-wanted belly rub. If I didn’t respond fast enough, I got really loud meows of complaint, or low disappointed “moo” sounds like a cow. He loved to chase and tackle me, if I walked away and he still wanted to play. Never a dull moment with my goofball. Thank you “Poooo” for being my sweet, lovable, and playful companion. You’re in my heart forever.
