Michael Severino

My donation to Bobbi and the Strays is in memory of my brother, Michael Severino.

Michael was a true animal lover and advocate for the homeless animals he would encounter on the street and for animals in shelters. When Michael lived in Mexico, he would fill up his truck with dog food and water and make daily trips to areas where there were concentrations of homeless dogs. When they heard his truck they would come running. If he saw dogs that were fenced in and looked neglected, Michael would jump the fence to take care of them.  Once Michael moved back to the states, he volunteered his time at his local shelter. Many of the dogs and cats he adopted were from the shelter; especially those that weren’t being adopted and were at the shelter for a long time. Michael considered his pets as part of his family. He leaves behind 10 dogs and two cats.
