Say hello to Spot!

He is a 1 1/2 year old beautiful rat terrier who was surrendered to us by his owner due to unforeseen personal problems.

Spot is affectionate, intelligent and will easily bond with people.  He will need direction, training and socialization using positive reinforcement.  He would do best with an experienced Rat Terrier owner (or someone who is willing to become familiar with the breed and it’s behaviors).  He is food motivated which will aid in his training.  Spot is loving and trusting and should do well in his forever home.

Spot is known to be friendly with both dogs and cats.  He can live with a cat as long as they respect each other’s space.

Spot is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and appears to be house trained.
