Reba

REBA is all ready to begin her life in a happy and loving home as someone’s very own pup!

She was found behind a building in Texas just days away from giving birth. Thankfully, she was rescued and transported to New York. Upon arrival, the intended rescue did not work out. We heard about this situation and stepped up to help this girl and her family.

While being transported to NY, Reba gave birth to her puppies. All were thin and malnourished, including Reba. They were then taken in by wonderful volunteers who offered to foster the family. They were cared for with love. Reba proved to be the most wonderful mama!

This fur family is now flourishing! We are extremely happy to say that all of Reba’s puppies have found forever homes!! Now it is Reba’s turn…

Reba has come a long way…both figuratively and literally. She has learned many basic commands and is progressing well with her leash skills. Her confidence is getting stronger with each passing day. Reba enjoys being petted, scratched and rubbed. She’s a real people lover, too! When properly introduced, Reba will sniff, wag and bow her head for a pat. She understands the current need for safety and doesn’t lick faces or hands. She believes in staying safe during these tumultuous times!

The ravishing Reba is an extremely sweet Pit Bull mix who is 2 years old, up to date on her vaccines, microchipped and will be spayed upon adoption. She is currently on medication for heart worm and is doing very well. If you are interested in adopting this gorgeous girl, please email adopt@bobbicares.org to request an adoption application. She will make such a wonderful canine companion! Please keep in mind that our adoptions are local only (Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan).
