Rachel has experienced some very bad times and has come through it all with flying colors! She is an extremely sweet and gentle dog who needs a kind and patient owner ready to give her the loving forever home she deserves. Due to her previous life experiences, this beautiful girl is a bit nervous in new situations and will take a while to feel comfortable with new people. She will flourish in a quiet and peaceful home and do best in a house with a yard rather than an apartment. Manhattan is too busy an environment for her. Due to Rachel’s nervousness right now, older children who have experience with dogs would be fine. With patience and kindness we are confident Rachel will be a wonderful companion.
