Puffy is a 9 year old Poodle who was surrendered by a family who could no longer care for him. He was quite confused and anxious during his first few months at the shelter. However, he is currently in a foster home and has adjusted extremely well in the home with the family and their dog.

Puffy is a medium energy pup. He is not a dog who enjoys being picked up and cuddled… yet. However, who knows what the future will be for him in the right home? He gets along well with female dogs of his size or smaller and behaves well in the house. Puffy is mostly house trained but may have an accident on occasion. He does not bark excessively and enjoys playtime in the yard, nice walks with his people and relaxing in his bed. He will need patience and understanding while he settles into your home and becomes a member of your family!

Precious Puffy is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is at our Atlas (Queens) location. Kindly keep in mind that our adoptions are local only (NYC area and Long Island).
