Help make TODAY YOUR lucky day with "Lucky", a handsome, affectionate dog who urgently needs a loving home. Strong and lean, weighing about 55 pounds, Lucky has had a rough life so far. Abandoned, emaciated, and dehydrated, he spent over 8 months in a cage at a shelter until caring volunteers rescued him from being euthanized. He craves all the hugs and kisses you can give him. It is extremely rewarding to see how an abandoned/abused dog can come around and be happy again, with your love and attention. Lucky is very adaptable, willing to please, a bit head-strong, but a sweetie at heart. Lucky is also wonderful with children. He has all of his shots, is chipped, and is neutered. He truly needs a foster or adoptive home as SOON as possible. It’s best if he is the ONLY pet in the house as he needs a lot of TLC….and deserves it!
