Say hello to King!

He is a gorgeous 1  1/2 year old Yorkshire Terrier who was surrendered to our shelter by his owner.

King has a liver shunt. He has to be on a special diet and is currently on two medications twice a day. He responded extremely well once we started his new diet and medications. King is a very sweet and happy boy…a much different pup from what he was when his owner left him at our shelter.  Little King was extremely skinny due to the fact that his owners neglected to take him to the vet for a lifesaving diagnosis. He surely would have died if he wasn’t surrendered to us.

This little guy is making such progress!  He is a ball of energy and just loves to play!  He is simply delicious!!

King will be neutered, microchipped,  is heart worm free, and will be up to date on all vaccines upon adoption.
