Johnny Miracle

Found on the street in very bad shape, Johnny Miracle defines the word miracle!  He is a 9 year old Yorkshire Terrier who is in search of his forever home where he will live the wonderful life he deserves.  Please read his story below.
Johnny Miracle’s Story:
This adorable little guy was brought to our attention when someone saw him wandering the streets of Brooklyn and having a dangerously close encounter with cars driving by. He was bandaged on one of his front legs and seemed to have some make shift shelter and kibble but was on his own and had a gentle disposition. A staff member scooped him up and got him to the safety of our shelter.
Upon returning to the shelter and checking him out, staff knew something was not right. Upon removing the bandages, they found a badly infected leg, covered in ulcers. He was transported to the vet immediately for medical care.  After a thorough exam, it was deemed his leg was too badly damaged to save and had to be amputated. Since his emergency surgery, he has been recovering, receiving lots of love from staff and those caring for him.  Please watch his video to see how well he is doing!

Johnny is up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative and neutered. He will be microchipped upon adoption.  He is currently in foster care and doing very well.  If you would like to meet this little miracle pup, please fill out the adoption application on our website using a laptop or desktop (no phone or tablet, please) at https://bobbiandthestrays.org/adoption-page-new/. Kindly keep in mind that our adoptions are local only (NYC area and Long Island).
