Chocolate was found living in Jamaica, Queens with several other dogs in a dirty, trash strewn alley. They slept in abandoned cars and ate out of trash bags in the middle of the night. Some of the dogs have been living there for as long as three years. After talking to the neighborhood kids, we found out that Chocolate was once someone’s dog and was just thrown out on the street when they did not want him anymore =( Chocolate is a happy, friendly dog. We were able to easily rescue him with a hamburger. He is skinny right now because he was living on the streets but with some TLC he will get back to a healthy weight soon.
