His family happily surrendered him to us at 13 years of age. It was pretty clear he was not a priority to them. His name is Charlie and he was in deplorable physical shape when they left him. However, he is not going to let this stop him from being the sweetest love bug you’ll ever meet.

We bathed him with a medicated shampoo due to a skin infection and brushed out his coat. His ears were cleaned and his nails were clipped so he could finally walk without being in pain. The medications we are giving him are helping him feel so much better! Charlie has a condition called dry eye and will always need to be given eyedrops on a daily basis.  He will sit quietly while the drops are being administered.  Charlie also has a heart murmur which does not require giving him any medication at this time. Through it all, this awesome boy has shown us nothing but love…

Charlie is getting the best care we can give him both physically and emotionally.  He is being showered with love and starting a new beginning with us. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines and heart worm free.
