Beethoven is a two year old Bassett Hound who is neutered,  up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and heart worm negative. He’s a very energetic guy who will require an owner who has the time and patience to help build up his confidence.  Beethoven will need help managing some social anxiety and attachment issues.  Upon first introduction, he may be scared (he’s not sure about men at this point).  Once he warms up to you, he will be fine and will never want to leave your side! He loves cuddles and sleeping in bed with his person.

Beethoven will flourish in a home as the only dog.  He needs extra attention and may show some aggression towards other dogs in the home.  He likes cats and enjoys playing with them a lot.  He will howl sometimes when left alone but it usually doesn’t last long. It may take him a while to adjust to a new environment, but with lots of patience he will eventually love you unconditionally.  Beethoven is an overall great pup who is currently at our Freeport location.
