Don’t let her name deter you! She is no trouble at all! This green-eyed girl is not only gorgeous, but she is also very expressive and vocal, too!
Trouble was adopted from our shelter as a kitten. After living in a home for ten years, she was returned because her owner moved to an apartment that did not allow cats.
Upon surrender, Trouble was so overweight that she could barely walk without being winded. She was also very aggressive. As a result of Trouble’s weight issues and lack of exercise, she developed mega colon whereas she had difficulty passing stool. With exercise and a proper diet at the shelter, Trouble’s weight began to decrease. She began to move more freely and the aggression started to subside.
Today, our Trouble is half the size she was when she came to us! She takes medication for the mega colon and feels so much better! She is now a friendly girl who enjoys being picked up and cuddled! She will flourish as an only fur kid in her new forever home as she loves being the center of attention.
Trouble is a 13 1/2 year old beautiful Tortoiseshell who is spayed, microchipped, negative for FIV/FELV and up to date on all vaccines. She is currently at our Freeport location. Please download our adoption application and email the completed form to adopt@bobbicares.org if you would like to meet this lovely lady. Kindly keep in mind that our adoptions are local only (Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan).
