THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING
Trooper is the perfect name for this little guy who has been through so much in his short life. He was found on the street with his siblings and taken in by a kind family. All of the kittens were fine except for this sweet kitten. He had severe deformities of both his back legs and could only pull himself around and drag his bottom. The family that found him did not have the ability to help him and reached out for help. He wound up in the care of his foster mother and after many vet visits it was concluded that one of his back legs needed to be amputated. On the day before his surgery, a very kind man donated the funds necessary for his entire surgery. Although sweet Trooper has come a very long way, he is still a special needs kitty who is profoundly disabled. He will need a very special person who is willing to adopt him and help him with his challenges. He will show you his appreciation while he melts your heart.
Little Trooper is a beautiful gray tabby who is now 3 1/2 years old. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. This little guy has done very well recovering from his surgery. He has had laser and acupuncture treatments to help with issues he’s had with incontinence but he must wear diapers as well. Trooper’s terrific personality and extraordinary ability to communicate his needs to his caretaker make him irresistible!
What Trooper really needs at this moment is a home to call his own. He gets around much better now and loves other cats and dogs, too. He loves to play with toys and loves everyone he meets. Trooper is currently in foster care with Merrie Gordon who has been caring for him. If you feel you can open your heart and your home to little Trooper, please call his “mom” at 347-538-1659 for further information. Calls from people seriously considering adopting Trooper will be appreciated and welcomed. This little guy will simply fill your heart with love.
