Say hello to Taylor!
He is a gorgeous 3 year old brown tabby and white kitty who was rescued from a city shelter and is now safe with us.
Taylor’s story is a very sad one…
Taylor came from a home where his caretaker sadly passed away. Her husband, knowing how much his wife loved her cats, continued to care for them and even took in more cats. There was a total of 43 cats in the home. Tragically, the house caught fire and the owner was moved to a hotel. He later wrote a letter to a neighbor requesting that she take care of the cats for him and then committed suicide. The police were called and all of the cats were picked up by NYC Animal Care & Control. Councilman Robert Holden reached out to Bobbi for help. Bobbi and the Strays has taken in 8 of these cats in an effort to help with this desperate situation. Taylor is one of the eight cats who are now in need of new homes.
Taylor is neutered, negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. He would love to begin his new life in a forever home with a patient and kind new owner.
You can meet this sweet boy at our Freeport location, 2 Rider Place.
