Stripes has had a hard life. First she was found living on the street. Begging for help, she followed a kind woman and her friend home. The kind woman didn’t hesitate to help Stripes. Though she had a good heart, she had too many cats.

Stripes was brought into a home with 50 other cats. Recently this woman came upon hard times, including falling on ice and fracturing her back. In pain and struggling to care for her beloved cats, the woman reached out for help.  Stripes was one of 15 cats that have been pulled out so far. In order to help the others, we need homes for the ones that were already pulled.

Stripes is the sweetest cat!  She loves attention and is very gentle.  She enjoys comfy beds, yummy treats, and having her belly rubbed. Despite having no teeth and being 14 1/2 years old, Stripes has a zest for life. She is looking for a home where she can be spoiled and get unlimited hugs and pets.  She would love a home with other cats as she is very cat friendly!  She’s fully vetted, spayed, felv/fiv negative, and up to date on shots.  To meet Stripes, please contact Heather at 516 384 1013 (text or call).
