Querida

Querida, which is Spanish for darling, completely lives up to her name. She was found by a good samaritan roaming a busy intersection in Queens. It was obvious to him that she did not know where she was or what to do with herself and walked up to him crying for food. He was scared for her life and wasn’t able to get anyone to take her immediately so he reluctantly brought her to the city’s high kill shelter. He continued to try to get her into a no-kill shelter and contacted one of our volunteers who went and picked her up and she is now safe with us. Querida is a very friendly and laid back 3 year old girl and is happy to just hang out and watch what’s going on around her. She is very curious girl and likes to be spunky! She is spayed, up to date with her vaccines and tested negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia.
