Say hello to Myka!
She is a 7 year old outgoing and super sweet kitty who was recently surrendered to our shelter due to her owner’s declining health. No one in the owner’s family would step up to care for this lovely girl.
Myka was delivered to us soaked in her own urine. Her coat was covered in matts which were actually pulling on this poor girl’s skin. She had a rotten tooth hanging in her mouth and she is extremely overweight. Needless to say, beautiful Myka was severely neglected for way too long. No animal should ever have to endure such blatant disregard for its wellbeing.
Once at the shelter, Myka’s coat was shaved, her rotten tooth was extracted, she was vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FELV and has begun a healthy diet for weight loss. Myka is spayed and all ready to go to her new home.
Through it all, Myka’s gentle soul continues to shine forth and she harbors no ill will. One look into her stunningly beautiful emerald eyes is all it will take for you to fall in love with this sweetheart. It’s onward and upward for Myka from this point on! She deserves a forever home with a person/family who will love and cherish her for the wonderful cat she is!!
