Calynne

Calynn’s owners moved, leaving her behind, and one of her neighbors came to the rescue. This young man took her into his family’s home, but their cat and "Cali" didn’t get along. He fostered her for several weeks while he waited for a spot to open up in our adoption shelter, but this was not an easy thing for him to do. Since things weren’t going well between the cats, and it looked like there would be several more weeks before we could get her into our shelter, a member of his family took Cali to the Manhattan Animal Care and Control, a kill shelter. Cali’s hero promptly pulled her out, determined to save her life. In order to make sure that she wasn’t rescued again by this kind-hearted individual, the family member drove Calynn all the way to Staten Island’s Animal Care and Control. We were already involved with her rescue at that point and we were contacted after she arrived there. She was transported to their Brooklyn facility where we rescued her and is now in our adoption center where she is waiting for her forever home. Calynne is a very affectionate girl who enjoys attention and especially loves having her ears scratched. She wants all the love for herself and would do best as an only kitty. She is spayed, tested negative for feline AIDS and Leukemia and is up to date with her vaccinations. If you would like meet cali please come see her at the shops at atlas park in glendale queens
