Say hello to Oliver!
He is a 5-6 year old brown tabby who is looking to give and receive love. Here is his story:
Dumped or lost? We don’t know, but we knew he needed help. Oliver first showed up a year ago in poor shape, but with a collar. Assuming he belonged to someone, the homeowner gave him some food and let him on his way. This summer, he showed up again with no collar, begging for food, and bleeding from numerous wounds. The homeowner knew she had to do something, so she caught him and contacted a local rescuer to help get his wounds treated and get him fixed. Right away, Oliver’s friendly personality stood out and they knew he would not be a typical TNR (trap, neuter, release). Oliver was immediately vetted and his extensive wounds were treated. He also has an old injury to his eye.
Oliver tested positive for fiv, but with monitoring he will live a long life!
He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and deflead. He is estimated to be around 5 to 6 years old. He has been healing well and is now ready for a forever home.
Oliver is the perfect lap cat. He simply wants to cuddle, play, and eat! Oliver loves everyone he meets and will climb right in your lap, flop on his back, purr, and fall sound asleep. He loves when you rub his belly and give him attention. At the vet, he savored the attention by climbing in the vet techs arms and allowing her to carry him around wherever she went! Oliver loves catnip toys and will flop around in delight. This boy who lived a hard life on the street deserves nothing more than a home that will spoil and love him.
