THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING
Josie was found outside struggling to survive. She was sick and thin and needed help. Thankfully a kind woman didn’t hesitate to help Josie and took her right to the vet and then brought her home. Though the woman had a good heart, she had too many cats. Josie was brought into a home with 50 other cats. Recently this woman came upon hard times, including falling on ice and fracturing her back. In pain and struggling to care for her beloved cats, the woman reached out for help. Josie was one of 15 cats that have been pulled out so far. In order to help the others, we need homes for the ones that were already pulled.
Josie is absolutely gorgeous! She is a 2 1/2 year old Siamese mix and is very petite (only about 5 to 6 pounds). Josie is a sweet girl but is still learning to trust. She’s easy to handle, allows you to pet and pick her up, but needs a family that will give her time. She needs someone that can use playtime and treats to build trust and allow Josie to slowly bond with them. Josie enjoys the company of other cats, so would love a home with friends! She is fiv positive. She can live in a home with other cats that are not positive as long as they all get along. Fiv does not impact Josie and she can live a long healthy life. She’s vetted, spayed, felv negative, and up to date on shots. To meet Josie, please contact Heather at 516 384 1013 (text or call).
