This dog came out of the woods of the Cunningham Park on Monday night and approached the dogs in the dog run. He was exceptionally friendly with people and dogs (all kinds, all sexes, neutered and not neutered). A kid from my neighborhood brought him home, but of course his parents did not want the dog: they already have one. I thought that the dog was a lab and a pit mix. But my vet thinks that he is mostly a mixture of two labs: black lab and chocolate lab. This explains his very dark, almost black, brown color. He is estimated to be a one year old: he has very small and very white teeth. He showed to be very good with other dogs and cats. He is extremely sweet with people and with kids. He has a lot of bites on his face and body. My vet thinks that they wanted to fight him but he did not want to - so they disposed of him in the woods. For more information please call 718 969-3181.
