Hello! My name is Petey and I was found as a stray. I use to sleep under a city bus in a lot and a good Samaritan worked on me for weeks. I was a little weary because in the past some humans weren't so nice to me but this person was very kind and rescued me. I then came to Bobbi and the Strays in Aug of '08

I have a tough exterior but once you get to know me I am described as "sweet", "loyal", "a comedian", "a baby" and did I mention "King"? I have a true terrier personally (a little stubborn), so I need to have an experienced owner with no small children. I love to run in the yard and play with toys. I am good with most other dogs. My best friend at the shelter is a 70 lb pit bull named Bentley. I love car rides and don't mind getting a bath. (which the staff has to give me more than they like because I roll around in the grass and dirt yard a lot. ha ha :).

I come with free training from one of the trainers at the shelter to help me and my new family get properly acquainted and to make sure we are set up for a happy life together.
